With the introduction of Nickelodeon Land in 2011, Spongebob’s Splash Bash was one of the brand-new attractions. It was new to the park, but it was also new to the industry, serving as a prototype from Mack Rides who had previously built the Avalanche.

The rides motion is not dissimilar to a scrambler ride, with floating spinning cars on a spinning base.

Guests are equipped with water guns and can soak fellow riders in an epic waterborne battle. Water guns are available for bystanders too!
