Just two years after the debut of the Steeplechase, the park was looking to make another significant investment. This would come in the form of the Revolution, Europe’s first 360-degree looping roller coaster.

Once again, the park worked with Arrow Development and settled on their ‘Launched Loop’ concept that had debuted at Kings Island two years earlier as Demon.

Pleasure Beach has worked with a number of ride manufacturers over the years, but more than any other Arrow Development (later Arrow Dynamics) helped shape the park, constructing the Grand Prix, Log Flume, Alice In Wonderland, Gold Mine, Steeplechase, Revolution and The Big One.

The ride consists of two elevated platforms separated by a vertical loop. After traversing the ride forwards, the layout is repeated in reverse.
