Bling arrived in 2004, the final addition under the stewardship of Geoffrey Thompson OBE. Built by Zierer of Germany, it was the second Star Shape ride to built overall – the prototype debuted a year earlier.

The Star Shape model is named for the spinning star shaped gondola that seats 30 riders on six cars, at one end of a 30 metre pendulum, capable of turning 360-degrees.

The dizzying movements of the ride created quite a spectactle, however at night the visuals were turned up to eleven with a spectacular lighting package, culminating with a huge strobe effect when the the ride reach its highest point.

Time was called on the ride in 2011.
